Build the scope of the simulation

Provide the syllabus, course level and type of expected questions. If you have official examples, use them as reference without asking to predict the exam. Specify which materials can be shared and which topics you want to practise. The system should also know what is not included in the programme.

One question, one answer, one feedback

Ask one question at a time and answer before reading the solution. You can do this orally even without sending a recording: then write a summary of the answer. If you use voice functions, check the data processing settings of the tool. The goal is to practise presentation, not to accumulate transcripts.

Evaluate with stated criteria

Propose four criteria: correctness, completeness, connections and clarity. Ask the system to indicate the passage of your answer on which it bases each observation. Recheck the corrections with the book. A judgement such as “excellent” without explanation is of little help; even a very precise correction can be wrong.

Also practise objections

After a definition, ask for a new example, a comparison or a counterexample. If you get stuck, try first with a hint. Record the error and return to that concept in a later session. The practice of recall has research foundations; this specific simulation is an operational proposal, not a guarantee of performance.

Do not turn the simulation into a prediction

The system cannot know which questions the teacher will ask nor guarantee a grade. Conclude with a timed test without assistance and compare, when possible, with a peer or a tutor.

01 / A PRACTICAL CASE

Try it in your session.

In pedagogy, after defining a theory, ask for an educational case and explain how you would interpret it. Then compare the answer with the distinctions present in the manual, not just with the chatbot’s comment.

02 / THE PROMPT TO ADAPT

Simulate an oral exam on [subject] based on the attached syllabus. Ask only one question and wait for my answer. Evaluate correctness, completeness, connections and clarity based on the provided materials. Quote the passage to verify and indicate any uncertainty. Do not assign a predicted grade. After feedback, propose a follow-up question. Do not show the answer beforehand.

03 / NOW, WITHOUT AI

The reasoning remains yours.

Extract three topics, set a realistic time and answer without notes. Note where you pause and check only at the end.
