Lock the facts before changing the format
Prepare a card with who, what, when, source, link and uncertain aspects. If the text contains an estimate, it must remain an estimate even in the shortest caption. Quotes should not be made more effective by changing words attributed to a person. Clearly indicate paraphrases.
Choose the entry point
For Instagram you can start from a question or a visual sequence; for LinkedIn from a professional consequence; for X from the essential fact. These are editorial options, not channel laws. The specific audience and available material count more than a stereotype about the social media.
Define where the reader must go
Each version must indicate a concrete step. If you use a story, prepare a text for the sticker link; if you refer to the profile, check that the link is really present. Check the current functions and limits in the account you publish with: do not entrust the model with the final verification of the format.
Compare the versions with the original
Read the three drafts alongside the article. Highlight numbers, qualifications, dates and promises. Ask the system to signal any added information, but check the result yourself. Brevity does not justify a headline that changes the meaning of the news.
